As a client of Sel-Mor Web Services, you also receive a POP3 Email account for your personal and/or business use. Read below to find out how to configure your mail client to read your email using your Sel-Mor POP3 account.

Configuring your Email Client

In order to use your POP3 email client that is supplied to from Sel-Mor Web Services, you need to configure your email client to send and receive using our mail server. To do so, locate you mail server preferences in your email client software. You should be able to specify a mail server for both incoming and outgoing POP3/SMTP mail. In both your incoming and outgoing field entries enter in the following server address.

You will also need to supply your account name, or your login name. Do so in the appropriate field box. Usually, the mail client does not let you enter in the password in your preferences menu, but will rather ask you for the password when you check or send your mail for the first time. It may also ask you if you want the email client to remember your password. This is up to you.

Using an Email Alias

If you would like to use your current email address and not the one Sel-Mor supplies to you, you can have all of your email that is sent to your Sel-Mor address bounced to any other email account you have. This is called Email Aliasing. It can give the illusion of having multiple email accounts for different departments. If you would like to have an email alias, email us telling us what email address you would like to have your email bounced to. Also include your account information so we know which account to alias.

Email Autoresponder.

An email autoresponder automatically send a pre-defined text file response to anyone who sends email to that address. Its great if you want your support email address to send back a confirmation response. You can have your current email account to be set up as an autoresponder or you can purchase another email account.
